Opioid misuse had been identified as a national public health crisis. AgriSafe has developed a series of trainings for health care professionals to help them better respond to the unique and often over-looked needs of people working agriculture.

Continuing Health Professional Education is available for four on-demand webinars through a partnership with the University of Mississippi Medical Center. 1.0 hour of Continuing Education is available for each webinar.

This continuing education opportunity is free to licensed health care providers in the state of Mississippi. For health care providers outside of Mississippi, the continuing education is available for $40 per 1.0 CE hour.

These training modules are intended for various health care professionals, including: Physician- AMA; Dental- ADA CERP; Nursing; Social Work; Pharmacy; CHPE (UMMC) and Emergency Medical Services.

AMA: The University of Mississippi School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
